Guilsfield Messy Church

On May 10th we will be celebrating Pentecost, which can be thought of as the birthday of the church. We will be making windchimes, windsocks and lots of other activities as well as icing birthday cakes. In June, on June 14th, we will be looking at the parable of the Prodigal Son and in July, on July 12th, we will be looking at the parable of the Good Samaritan. Did you know that until Jesus told this parable that the word Samaritan was used about people who were thought of badly. Nowadays if someone is called a Samaritan then we think of someone who is kind and helpful. We always have lots of great activities and a good free meal. We welcome families of any shape and size to just turn up on the day and have fun. Our Messy Church is always free of charge as we are supported by donations and grants.
