As a way of making Messy Church available to families who might not otherwise have thought about it or heard of it, you could look into having your Messy Church validated for the Children’s University (TM) scheme that is running across the country. Full details can be found on their website www.childrensuniversity.co.uk.
The main requisite for organisations wishing to be validated is that their activity relates to a UCAS degree. Messy Church, of course, relates to theology, with art and design also relevant.
You’ll need to fill in a couple of forms describing what you do and how you are run. If your Messy Church is validated, it can then be included in the publicity sent out by the local Children’s University coordinator.
