Lambeth Listening

Published 24th January 2014 by lucy moore

Martyn and I had a happy day at Lambeth Palace yesterday. We were invited to be part of a listening process headed up (eared up?) by Chris Russell, the Archbishop’s Advisor for Evangelism and Witness. It was encouraging to hear that Archbishop Justin has three main priorities: prayer, reconciliation and evangelism. He wants to know what is working in the Church and how he can support this. We were only one small voice in the midst of many wonderful projects, individuals and organisations, but felt very privileged to be included in the invitation. If there’s anything you want us to make sure is heard in this process that relates to Messy Church, do let us know and we can feed it in.
For future reference, Lambeth Palace does very good cake.
