Welcome Cindy Banek as your new Messy Church Regional Coordinator for Virginia, USA! We are delighted that Cindy has joined the Regional Coordinator network and pray for her and her new role in the States.
Cindy has been involved in church ministry for the past 30 years, beginning as a volunteer Sunday school teacher and choir mother and then as Children’s Ministries Director. She currently serves at Williamsburg United Methodist Church in Williamsburg, Virginia, as the Director of Christian Education and Discipleship, a position she has held since 2007.
Cindy has been involved with Messy Church for the past 20 months, as Williamsburg UMC hosts a Messy gathering that attracts over 100 families each month. When not at the church, Cindy is probably either at the gym or walking her Weimaraner dog, Spirit. Cindy is married to Ed and has two daughters and two granddaughters.
