Who Let The Dads Out?

Published 18th September 2011 by lucy moore

On Saturday Messy Church joined Who Let The Dads Out? at their annual conference in Stockport with workshops, fun craft activities and keynote speakers. Stories were shared, craft challenges were judged and a wonderful feeling of God at work in the community was heard.
Brad Lincoln, author of BRF’s award winning book One Dad Encountering God, helped us to think about men in and out of church, the ways they may express their faith and the challenges they have in family life. Jane and Lucy were both involved with workshops and Lucy’s talk on the Prodigal Father was hijacked in the nicest possible way by the three enthusiastic and multi-talented actors, who took the roles in it. This was an opportunity for Messy Church and Who Let The Dads Out? to compliment each other with their family and spiritual values. A day full of hospitality, fun and information.
