Messy church St Luke’s community church Swarcliffe

St Luke's Community Church is a Church of England church in the Parish of Swarcliffe and Whinmoor (Diocese of Leeds). Everyone is truly welcome here—whether you are exploring faith for the first time or have been walking with Jesus for years. Come as you are. Our monthly messy church is an intergenerational service that gives families an opportunity to explore faith together in a relaxed, creative way. It’s loud, a bit chaotic and full of life and chatter. The focus is on being together, being creative through crafts and activities, eating a simple meal together, and celebrating God together through stories, music, and prayer. Everyone is welcome, and the activities are for grown-ups and children to do together. It’s a chance to find out more of God’s stories and grow together as God’s people. Parents and Guardians are responsible for supervising and keeping their children safe at all times. (Also, it involves paint and glue, so it's best not to wear smart clothes…)
