Coming Soon: Messy Church Regional Teams!
We’ve been listening carefully to Messy Church teams and leaders across the country. One thing came through loud and clear: you want more opportunities to connect locally – to share ideas, pray together, learn from one another and feel supported by people who understand the joys and challenges of Messy Church.
So we’re excited to say… it’s happening!
We’re launching new Messy Church Regional Teams – designed to bring support, encouragement and connection closer to home.
Equipping, encouraging, and enabling every Messy Church to flourish
Our Messy Church Regional Teams walk alongside leaders and teams of all ages, offering prayerful and practical support. Rooted in prayer and shaped by shared learning and best practice, the regional teams provide encouragement, resources, and opportunities to connect with others on the journey. Whether you are just beginning or have years of experience, they help build confidence, resilience, and sustainability, so Messy Church communities can flourish for all ages.
What will Regional Teams look like?
Each Regional Team will have a Team Lead and Core Team who are passionate about supporting Messy Churches in their area.
They will host termly online gatherings – relaxed, welcoming spaces to:
- build community
- pray together
- explore key topics
- share ideas and stories
- encourage one another
Our hope is that these connections will grow into annual in-person gatherings – opportunities to deepen relationships, celebrate what God is doing, and be inspired together.
Regional Teams will be supported by the BRF Ministries Messy Church Team, ensuring strong links with national vision and resources.
Within each region, we’re also developing:
- Local Hub Churches – Messy Churches willing to host events and welcome visitors who would like to see Messy Church in action.
- Accredited Trainers – so that each region can offer high-quality, accessible training and support.
Our existing Specialist and Prayer Support Teams will continue at a national level, offering expertise and dedicated prayer covering.
Local Messy Churches will simply be able to opt into the region that’s most convenient for them.
