Alison Thurlow emailed with a funny anecdote:
One of our Messy Church families has started coming to St Nicholas on a Sunday morning and the three children are really enjoying going to the ‘Remix’ group. Last Sunday in ‘Remix’ they were talking about saints and the leader asked all the children if they could think of the names of any saints. With a view to including all the children, the same leader gave them a clue by asking them what the name of our church was. Quick as anything, Lucy, aged almost four, piped up, ‘Messy Church!’ So can we now add ‘Saint Messy Church’ to the long and revered list of saints down the ages…?!
