- Set up a Facebook page, a Twitter account, a web page or website.
- Write an article for your church magazine and website.
- Contact your local newspaper, radio and tv stations with details and photos (read our advice on taking photographs).
- Inform your circuit, diocesan or similar newspaper with a press release and photos.
- Invite the Mayor or MP along (they will want to appear in the local press).
- Make invitations at Messy Church for the current congregation to give to friends.
- Put invitations in school book bags (with permission).
- Put an article in the school newsletter (with permission).
- Put up posters in local shops, the library, children’s centres, places where toddler groups meet.
- Run a Messy Church stand or stall at a local fair, show or market.
