Beith Messy Church Summer Trip!

Kathryn Young

Beith Messy Church recently undertook a new venture when we went on a summer trip! To round off our Messy Church session we headed to a nearby country park to enjoy an afternoon of fun. We invited along members from Beith Parish Church and over 70 of us congregated at the park.

When we arrived we enjoyed a game of ‘People Bingo’, this encouraged everyone to mix and start talking to each other. Then folk opted for different activities, there was a choice of a STEM trail, woodland fun, crafts and a guided walk. There was also plenty of time to visit the playpark or the tea room.

We came together again for a BBQ, races and rounders before finishing off with a short time of worship.

This was a fantastic day out, it was so good to see all ages having fun together and getting to know each other better.
